I've got the Canon Image Stabilizer 10x30.

Bought on-line.

I like them alot.

Sister-in-law bought a pair after trying mine.

They're expensive. The type I used was very effective ... up to a point. While damping adverse, they won't make a round world flat.

Image stabilized binoculars

The Canon stabilized binoculars are nice but not waterproof. I read several reviews where the stabilization system stopped working after a year. The presumption was that the salt water envioroment was the cause. The Nikon Stabileyes are waterproof but cost more than the Canons. I bought a pair of Nikon factory reconditioned 12x35's on Ebay for $600. They were sold as a "demo" pair but were in reality-factory reconditioned. I am very satisfied with them.
