Good day, I have a 2002 282 Sailfish with dual sink on port side at stern, one I guess is considered a bait holding area with drain. I was having some oil tank troubles and to clearly see everything I needed to remove the battery switch box and also cut caulk and pull the sinks. Anyhow I inadvertently damaged one of the sinks. There are two drain hoses one of them broke at the connection at the bottom. I think just age and was brittle.

The Question because now I am home and forgot to check. Is that one piece? or can that drain piece be replaced or modified because I sure don't want to buy a new sink? Maybe a through hull connector?

Regards

Yes maybe a plastic small diameter thru hull type of fitting. If however the 'sink' is a livewell AND the drain is also where you insert an standpipe / overflow tube, you need a specific fitting
Here is an example of what I am referring to

Not livewell more like a frozen bait station holding area with drain, that leads out Port side, I wish I would have measured

I have never seen a sink with the drain cast, or molded, in as one piece, so I would think that it is a separate plumping part. But......, there are a lot of things I still haven't seen.

Definitely 2 piece, probably a flat washer, or caulk on top, and a threads and a nut on the bottom. Do you know if it is straight or elbow? If this repair gives you access to both, I would replace both.

I think you are correct two pieces, I think it is also straight, the piece that broke may still be in the hose underneath, that was a second issue to me working on the oil. I really think it is a through hole connector type it looks in my old photo to have a notch in the plastic? I will update when back down I am going to by a few sizes
