Have a ntm seafarer 228 with a beautiful hardtop that i need to remove to fit into my shop. I have seen plenty of collapsible towers, but none with a hardtop. Has anyone seen a collapsible tower under a hardtop? Thanks for your thoughts-

A collapsible tower UNDER the hardtop? The hardtop is part of the aluminum structure. I assume you mean where the entire structure can tilt down somehow?

How often do you plan on bringing this into your shop? Is it the door that is the problem? Once in, is the ceiling high enough? Do you plan on keeping the hardtop for future use? Are you doing this for storage or to work on it?

Yes, trying to collapse it into the back of the boat. It will live in the shop to be protected from the elements. It needs to collapse to fit in the door.

Well, anything is possible with enough thought and money. But it's going to be heavy and awkward - moreso the further it collapses. Are you sure you don't want to just get a nice cover? Or a carport? Heck, since you said it just needs to clear the door, it'd probably be less expensive to get a bigger door!
