Got a ballpark estimate on putting seadek down on my 2003 258 Voyager (same layout as later years Adventure I believe)

Cost for just the decking, not including the cabin or gunwales, just the deck, walkaround and transom area was almost $5K

That seems high to me so I was wondering in anyone with a 258 or similar sized walk around can tell me what it cost them to seadek their boat

There's different thicknesses of SeaDek so that might be part of the issue. Also... glue down or snap-in? What's the breakdown of parts vs labor? But, yes, $5K sounds high.

Where are you located? I had Aquatraction installed on my 330 Express last year and was very happy with the price, quality and install.

Well, $4,400 isn't "too" bad. The labor seems very fair. The materials... well I suppose it somewhat depends on the type of SeaDek like I mentioned. But all of this stuff has gone up quite a bit in the last two years. Don't compare pricing to anything done over a year ago.

Agree on the price compare. I'd be curious what the manufacturers say about removal when it's time. The last I heard was the residue that was left on the gelcoat almost forces you to do it again.
