Cruise Speed??

Looking for the most efficient speed to run my 1988 Sailfish 252 or cruise speed. I know that much will depend on amount of fuel on board, engine weight, etc. I am just looking for general #s. I run the boat typically at 20 knots...but i have no idea if the hull is more efficient at higher speeds.

I would think a good investment would be fuel management gauges that show your fuel flow. Floscan and Navman have some. I think this will be one of my next upgrades.

Optimum cruise

In all of my boats seems to be about 70-75% throttle.
In GW 225 this is about 30 mph or 4000 RPM with F 250
My diesel boat also is about the same %
