Once again we towed the 282 sailfish to san carlos bay in Mexico..we launched and ran across the sea to santa rosalia (about 75 miles) on June 23...we fished and dove our way south to Loreto..

We stayed in Loreto area for the Vagabundo's tournament, 4th of July activities, Govenors tournament and the fishing for the Mission Tournament...The fishing was great this year..we caught and released many dorados over 40#...we also caught sailfish and Marlin...

We spent from June 23 to our return to san carlos bay on July25th living on the Grady...only about 5 nights were spent in harbors ..most nights were spent on the hook around the offshore islands...one night we got caught in a chubasco with about 40mph winds...we had to pull our anchor in the middle of the night and more to safety...we had just added the flir system before our trip and that night it was worth every penny as we piloted the boat out of a narrow anchorage, around a large sailboat, thru high winds, driving rains and rough seas to safety and we could see each hazard as clear as day...

We hoped to return for another month this oct. but I broke my foot scuba diving,,,we will return next June and cruise again...
