The curtesy light installed under the electronics box on my hard top is shot.
I would like to replace it with the original type, has red and white bulbs and a switch for the spreader lights.

Anyone know the manufacturer?

That dome light is no longer available. I found a few on eBay a few years ago and "made" a new one for my boat. If it's just the switches they are available from DigiKey.
Do advanced search member:hookup1 search:dome light and you will find everything you need.

My guess is SCANDVIK.

no...that one requires a big hole and its all metal. Its not what you want.

Perko had one similar to original but itss not LED (I think original was Perko) It was crazy expensive for no good reason.

Switches and rubber boots are available to fix what you have...unless you cracked the housing...

There are some LED versions out there that would work but look different. You want surface mount.
Lumitec Aurora was used by someone here.

They don't have the Spreader switch. You can reroute the spreaders to a new pull switch or a dash switch.

here an old thread https://www.greatgrady.com/threads/dome-light-upgrade.35460/

Are you needing the entire assembly including the pigtail/switch as well as the light itself? There's a brand new one for sale on eBay for $60 but it looks like it just includes the pigtail/switch portion of it, and not the light assembly itself. The part number for the light appears to be a Guest 30-189 and the pigtail/switch should be a 30-013. Your local Grady White dealer also might have an idea or two as to a replacement if neither of the above options works out for you.

wow... I was way off. I had the wrong light entirely....

As stated the switches are avail, but not the light. There are others out there that will do the job.

this is an on/off for the spreader look for

Perko 0701DP Push Button Switch

The three wire on/off/on for the RED/off/White seems to be hard to find or a ridiculous price

There's also a Perko brand dome light that looks decent, but I'm not a huge fan of the light switch design like it has. I think if it were me and I was replacing the entire thing as well as wanted to keep it plastic instead of metal, the second linked Sea Dog brand appears to be decent as well. The Sea Dog brand also comes in metal as well, if you wanted to go that route.

that seadog looks like a pretty close replacement and it is LED and red/off/white.

Agreed. I don't have any experience with it in person, but the pictures make it seem like a fairly decent product/fit. The Perko one doesn't look too bad but the toggle switch on the outside looks like it would get broken off very quickly after installing. I think having something more similar to the push button, like the Sea Dog one, would be a considerably better idea. Just my thoughts on the matter, of course.

yea saw that one and would def do the job. it's a solid marine name, so maybe it would hold up better.

Look at post #9. These were Marino Guest light assemblies.

If the plastic dome and outside are in good shape you can but switches from DigiKey at a reasonable price and rebuild the old one. My dome was busted up. I took what I bought on eBay and added the second switch and light from the old one. Here is what you need from DigiKey. Post #15

On my 1997 268 Islander there are two switches on the dome light. The dome light switch . Off - dome light WHITE on - off - dome light RED on. The other switch is for the spreader lights Off - On.

The switch frequently burns up under the load of regular spreader lights. Higher amperage switches are available from Digit-Key. I would suggest going to LED spreader lights too.

My spreader light switch went out too. I found them at DigiKey.com - great price - order a couple of them for spares. Same vendor part that OEM used.

512PB-ND $1.94 Spreader light switch (SPST 10 amp)
522PB-ND $2.52 Dome light switch (SPDT 2 amp) << Digit-Key shows this as a $12.00 part now.

Here's one on marketplace near me. Not sure if he would ship.

Thanks for all the feedback!
I'm sure I can find what I need w/ all this info!

Here is the original Guest-Marinco dome light available today. I took light bulb base out of my old one and installed switches from DigiKey.

See post #17. New dome light!

Spreader light switch works best with LED spreader. Old spreader lights draw more current and will shorten the life of the switch.
