Decals re-attachment

My Grady-White decal at the side of the boat started to come loose. So far it is only the "e" letter on the stbd side that is off the hull surface.
I've been thinking of 4200 or similar vs double sticky tape as thin as it gets. It appears like the decal has a "double sticky" surface to begin with and as it now sits I believe it would be sufficient to just reattach this last letter rather than replacing the entire decal.

Any thoughts?

1. call/email GW. They might send a replacement letter.
2. pull the letter off, remove the sticky tape, clean well, apply new sticky tape (see link below), trim & reapply letter (make sure to make the position of the letter before you remove it.
