Diesel fuel stain

i had my Marlin in the water overnight as we were leaving to go offshore before our Marina opened. Apparently one of the cruise ships or another ship leaked diesel fuel into the inlet. When we got back from the fishing trip, we had a one inch ring around the hull. I was pretty unhappy as you can imagine. I tried On/Off, Starbright hull cleaner, Seapower wax and cleaner, all to no avail.
Any one have a solution?

Did you let the O/OFF sit for a while?
You might want to try various solvents: Acetone is one.
A stronger polish like a compound may be needed, followed by polish and then wax.
