I am researching a work boat for my work. I have a J16 Carolina Skiff and thought that would be a good application for what I am looking for. I was surprised to learn Carolina Skiff no longer makes the bare hulls for tiller control and to build out yourself.
The dealer said the bare hulls were inexpensive and the closest they would offer joe is an aluminum boat which I am not really interested in I don’t think. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with another manufacturer similar to the old J series skiffs.
