F300XSB Trim Display Flashing

Hello. I have a 2023 Yamaha with the CL5 Command Plus display. When trimming the engine full up, the trim display starting blinking. Put engine full down and still blinking. Restarted display and no resolution to this problem. The engine moves fine up and down from the throttle button. Any ideas? TIA

Check the trim sender on the motor. They often stick. Depending on your motor and size as to where it will be located. Also that can be calibrated, but you’ll need the manual for the CL5.

Normal for it to blink when the motor raised. Sounds like the trim sender lever is stuck.

There is a black plastic trim switch next to the trim motor. It is more likely stuck. There is a spring in it
