Here is another alternative that I know is safe. Its called a low volume pickup. View attachment 10472

I didn't see your picture, before (somehow didn't show up on my other computer). That low volume pickup is what I've been referring to as a "mushroom" thru-hull - sort a commonly used slang term for it.

The low volume intake term refers to the Vee that is Machined into the mushroom part of the thru hull. Take a closer look and you will see it.

Could be a small blockage in the system contributing as well. Might be good to do a good inspection and cleaning.

Many thanks to all of you. Going to pull it (when it gets warmer) clean it up ck all the lines again and re-install.... Might even splurge and buy a new one same type and see what happens.
