After 25 years of ownership (I'm the second owner), Rozella is for sale.
The story: She's been very well maintained. Originally sporting a Yamaha 2 stroke 200 HP, she was mothballed when my son was born. I repowered in 2013 with a used Yamaha 200 HPDI that was a 2 year leftover when it was purchased new by the previous owner, and it was one of a pair that was too much HP for him. Consequently, he hardly used them. The shop, Bamforth's in Brunswick, Maine took them in trade where they sat for another 2 seasons. So, I found a great engine with less then 50 hours on it. There were 2 soft spots in the transom due to water intrusion. All issues were resolved, and a new cutout bracket was installed and sealed. At the same time as the repower, I took the opportunity to replace the fuel tank, the fuel lines, the filler hose, and the deck fill plate. Also, a new shift control binnacle, and cable were added along with a new Teleflex NFB steering cable. All through-hulls were changed out for new. The boat was manufactured to accept a twin outboard setup, but was never configured that way, so I converted the forward underdeck space (where the second fuel tank would've been) to a huge storage box. I'm glad I did. It's been a game changer for our family. It swallows a ton of gear.
