New to the forum - new Grady-White Owner (new boat owner). I have just bought a 2018 Grady-White Freedom 215 with a 200hp Yamaha. I will take possession of it in the next week or so. I went on a sea trial last week and it ran great (very happy on how it handled on a pretty choppy day). My only complaint is that at 6'3'' I'm pretty tall and when I was standing I had to hunch over awkwardly to reach the control throttle. If it were even 1-2 inches higher it would be much better. Is there a way to get a longer control arm without getting too deep into rewiring? How do I know which Yamaha or aftermarket control throttle arms are compatible? The current arm (pic attached) says 'Yamaha Remote Control'.

Thanks.

Perhaps there’s room to move it up a few inches, then patch the old hole. Newer throttle for electronic engines is shorter than what you have and isn’t compatible with your engine anyway.
Couldn’t tell from your pic what type of helm seat you have, but if it has a movable bolster put that up as a compromise.
