I just bought a 2004 Tournament 225. The dealer said that they checked the fresh water pump and it worked for them. I believe them, they are a very reputable dealer but 75 miles away. The water tank is full. The pump runs. Any suggestions before I take it back to the dealer?

My 222 did the same thing. It actually had a crack in the pump housing. The clear plastic that covered it. Went to West marine a replaced it. Fixed. Check the housing for any cracks.
Could the filter be clogged with "junk" from the tank? I would think the pump would run but no water would come out?

Have you tried letting the pump run for a few minutes while keeping a faucet open? Sometimes that is what it will take to get it reprimed and pressurized. The other thing I had to do once in the past was to disconnect the water line on the output side of the pump and see if it will squirt water out. If it does then you know the problem is not the pump, but elsewhere.

Your tip to disconnect the output side evidently primed the pump. It works fine now. Thanks for everybodies help. CASE CLOSED
