Guys,

My fresh water shower quit working. The tank is full and when I turn it on I hear the pump running but no water pressure at the shower head. Any ideas what might be wrong with it? Thanks.

If you can hear the pump running my guess is the water inlet strainer is clogged. Unscrew the strainer from the inlet side of your pump, open it up and check the mesh screen inside, if it is clogged flush it out and reassemble. A little bleach added to the water tank helps prevent it from happening.

It sounds like if the pump is running but has no pressure you may have either busted a hose or the hose came off one of its fittings. I would try to turn on the water and listen for the water splashing.

And if those ideas don't pan out ...

I thought my water tank was full once because it was overflowing. Turns out there is a sharp turn in the filler hose, and if I don't get my supply hose past it, then the water just shoots back out giving the impression that the tank is full when its not.

Thanks for the replies. It worked fine when I first got the boat but quit. I think the strainer is clogged at the pump. Going down next week to check it out. The wife needs it now since it has gotten warm enough to swim.
