I have a stock Yamaha Fuel/Water separator set up. I see our members discussing the advantages of the Racor clear bowl filter. My question: Can you buy a Racor filter that screws right into the existing Yami set up, or do you have to buy and mount a Racor set up? In other words, am I buying just a spin-on filter, or an new mounting bracket to to go with? Thanks.

Jake - you should be able to purchase a Racor that will screw onto your existing filter head. The only issue you may have is that the filter and its bowl are longer than the Yamaha and you may not have enough room to mount it without moving the head.

Call them and I'm sure they could tell you which would be the appropriate filter and bowl.

I think the Racor filter you want is part. no 3213, but don't quote me on that.

Yeap, but the filter with the bowl has some other #'s (B or S?). As long as the filter says 3213, it'll fit.

Those are a nice setup with the clear bowl. Does the 32013 or 32014 fit the stock yamaha head?

I often think I'm throwing away a perfectly good filter when I change it. A water drain would be great.

EDIT: oh, never mind. I see the chart says the 32013 fits yamaha. Thanks!

As gw204 and fishie said.... yes. It will fit on the Yamaha mount, (see chart).

You want the B32013. The "B" indicates it iincludes the bowl. That's what you want.

Good link from fishie. Good prices.... that's who I've used.
