Generator installation??

Is it possible (or advisable) to install a generator on a 27' Sailfish?

If so, where? what size? any other hook-up advice would be appreciated.

Can't do it on a 27-foot Islander. You have more beam, but I'm not aware of anyplace you could do it. And putting an internal combustion engine in an enclosed space means blowers and ventilation inlet and outlet, and vent hose runs... in addition to fuel, cooling water in/out, and power connections.

Read up on using a Honda EU2000 above decks, when needed.

People have a lot of problems with their generators from access to service it to the unit getting wet. Like ocnslr said, the portable unit is probably the way to go.
