Grady 216 Console Rod Storage

Hi all-I am new to the board and just purchased a 2018 Grady White 216 Fisherman. Boat is being stored in Mass. pending spring transport and I don’t have access to it yet. I am wondering if anyone who owns a 216 can advise as to whether the head console area is large enough to store 5 1/2’ or 6’ rods in the locked head area when the boat is at slip. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi Delaware Troller, my 216 is at the shop getting the Seakeeper Ride system installed. Once I get it back, I will measure the inside console height for you. I do not believe it will accommodate a 6' rod, but may accommodate a 5-1/2' rod stored diagonally. I believe the interior console height is approximately 48".
