Okay, both batteries register 13.2 on meter. Enough current to operate anchor windlass. Turn ignition key, nothing. Throttle is in neutral.

Escape 2005 w/150 Yamaha.

Checked fuses and all are okay. Circuit breaker on stbd transom is okay.

I am stumped!

I checked the kill switch. The lanyard clip is in place, and pulling button out more didnt work. It does act just like the kill switch, or the shift lever being out of neutral. Plenty of juice, just dead when turning ignition. No clicking, nothing.

I am open to any and all ideas!

Not much info here so in general, turn on the ignition and see if you can find juice at the motor. Try measuring att he fuses. Maybe you can hear a pump or something (depends on motor). Check juice at solenoid ( battery connection. It should be on all the time as long as battery switch is on. If no good work backward to battery.
Jump large terminals on solenoid. The starter should engage. If not, battery connection or motor ground, perhaps starter but not likely. If it does, locate start terminal on solenoid ( the one that connects to the ignition switch) see if it gets juice when you try to start the motor, if it doesn't, bad wire, ignition switch, kill switch or neutral saftey switch( or neutral switch adjustment) If it does, solenoid is bad or connection is corroded/loose

Also try turning the ignition to start position and moving the throttle back and forth a little ( checks for out of adjustment neutral switch)

Let us know what happens

Followed suggestions by you guys and found a 50 amp isolator fuse on port side of engine that is blown. May be the problem? Sunday afternoon, I will see if I can find a seller of fuzes. Not 7-11.....

Some of those Yamis ahve spare fuses under the cowling

Problem solved! I took apart the 50 amp fuse and soldered the break back together. Small break. Inserted fuse and it works.

Then, when I went to put the cover back on the fuse panel, (Ok Seasick, you told me so!) I found a spare fuse! So I swapped the repair fuse for the spare fuse and buttoned it all back up. Thanks for the help. This forum is great. You guys saved me a $300 bill at the local Grady dealer. :D

Thats great. Get a new fuse when you can. It is not common for that fuse to pop. It might just have failed on its own but there may be some other issue
