Was hoping folks might be able to lend a hand, I have a few annoying little parts I want to swap on out my Grady 208 Adventure (2000)
1.) I am looking to replace the latch on the “catch door” in front of the engine – this is from a 2012 parts manual I Found:
• 10-179 Keeper Soft Latch
• 10-181 Fastener Latch (Soft Latch)
• 10-203 Catch Door (Dam)
There is a releasable rubber/plastic latch that holds down this door that releases if you bump the engine into it when raising… Mine snapped last year on both sides (there is one on each side). So I do not need the door itself but just the latches…
2.) I want to replace the 10-1087 Cup Holder with some rod holder/cupholder combos from Mate Series -- does anyone know where I can get specs on these original grady rod holders (e.g - what size cutout do they use?) Boat is in storage and I wanted to order the right cutout tool for when I go to work on boat.
3.) I also need to replace the latch on the anchor well from the INSIDE of the boat (CABIN). I was given part 10-874 but I feel like that might be for the outside latch (on top of deck) can someone confirm? this is one I can jimmyrig myself but wouldn't hurt to get the actual part #
Finally -- I am adding some 0 Degree rod holders with backing plates for Tuna Fishing -- anyone have suggestions on the exact placement? Has anyone had luck doing this before and if so where did you place?
