First off thank you for letting me join your site. I recently purchased a 1989 Grady 25 ft Trophy Pro. Can someone tell me where and how to find the wash down pump.

Probably mounted somewhere to the inside of the transom. If you don't know where the inlet side is, follow the hose from the output side. Or if it's working, turn the pump on and see if you can hear where the sound is coming from. If the boat is on a trailer, you can look under the boat and see where the thru-hulls are to pick up the water. That will also give you a starting point on where the inlet side is.

That hull is 36 years old. Odds of it being the original pump are about zero percent, so one of the previous owners could have replaced it with something different and moved it.

I am not sure where the inlet valve is
that might be why you have no water.
It's going to be in the deck at the stern of the boat.

Is the boat in the water? If the boat is in the water, don't open the valve. Get it on a trailer and check things out.

Often Grady put a 6" piehole for access to valves. Often there was a knob with and extention rod. I would suggest removing the deck entirely and look at it.
Look at the bilge pump and float switch and everything else. Make sure it works.

If it runs, turn it on and listen for it. It usually a small Blaster pump.

Yes the pump doesn’t work that is why it is so hard to find it

Boat is on trailer, I looked in all of the 6” plates and can not see anything

Just to clarify - I assume you're looking for the SALT water washdown pump. If you have one, it either gets saltwater from a dedicated thru-hull valve or it is a Tee'd off connection from the live-well pump. Follow the salt water washdown hose to the pump. Then follow the pump inlet hose to the saltwater source.

Yes that is what I am looking for

If it has SW washdown and /or a livewell then it has one or two holes with bronze (or plastic) strainers in the bottom of the boat near the stern.
The valve(s) are connected to the strainer inside the boat. If you can't see them thru pieholes then you need to unscrew the deck and cut the silicone and pull up the deck hatch

Look in the bilge aft through the pie plates. Look for sea cocks with levers. At a minimum you would have one but more likely two. Depending on how the boat was rigged, you might have three if the boat has a toilet with overboard discharge plumbing. If so, the hose connected to that seacock for the head will be fatter than others.
I assume there is a fitting near the transom that you would connect the washdown hose to. It may be easier to trace backwards form that faucet to the pump.
As mentioned, the live well if you have one mat share a dual port pump with the washdown. Does the livewell work?
