This forum adds substantial value to ownership of a Grady. Beside all the good advice I recieved relative to "pounding in a seaway" "White Cloud" came out with me for an hour and showed me a few tilting motor pointers that really made a big differrence. What I learned was that I had the motor too tilted down and the bow was digging in and "steering me" By tilting the motor up I was able with coaching from WC to go on a fast plane in a 2 to 2.5 ft chop pretty comfortably. Had I kept experimenting I might have taken quite a while to reach the comfort level that I now have. "White Cloud" lives in the same town as I do -Marblehead-and has essentially the same boat-I have a 97 voyager and he has a 2003 voyager Journey. The ride was smooth and pretty quite at 4000 rpms and 31mph. For someone new to powerboating the forum and people like "White Cloud" make the Grady experience even greater. Thanks for all the assistance. Lew
