The product is T-9 by Boeshield, available at West Marine, Defender, Jamestown and other places. It is ****ing great around electrical connections, bulbs, bus panels, etc. preventing corrosion. It is safe to use around a fuse panel, as it will not conduct between terminals. A bit pricey at 15 - 18 bucks a can, but well worth it for the convenience and promise to do what it says it will. Also good on your reels guns, whatever.

i use it on almost everything. been using it since '02. when i traded in the gulfstream, the gauge connections and everything else i sprayed had no corrosion at all. it does get gunky if you do a thick coat (it's a wax-like substance), but it's better than having things corrode away. spray and wipe if you want a less thick coating.
if i had known about this stuff a long time ago, i would have sprayed my wife when she was 25 (i'm pretty sure she doesn't read this forum :shock: )
