Finally going to replace my macerator pump. Anyone know of any good deals out there? Best price I've found so far is $500.

When our macerator locked up a few years ago, I got a similar price on the replacement.
Instead, I purchased the entire Groco tank assembly for a few hundred more. But it was 50% larger in capacity (same height and width, and seven inches longer), and was the SweetTank model. That means it comes with a high-volume, low-pressure air pump and has an air distribution manifold in the bottom of the tank. Haven't had to add any chemicals since, as the aerobic environment in the tank will not support the stinky bacteria that need an anaerobic environment.
Tank is mounted athwartships, so no problem with the extra 7" length.

it's a mess job but you can change out just the motor for around 275, might need the wire bushing and seal allso. I just replaced my pump motor my self. http://www.groco.net/ part 15 and 1 and 25 with the pump motor.
Groco was telling me I needed to purchase the entire set up. Is that not the case? Just need the motor and macerator head (I'm guessing).
Remove the two hoses, 2 wires and 10 nuts/washers holding pump to the tank. Pull the pump out - that is all you need to replace. If you want to go OEM, call:

Thanks. Spoke to John yesterday and overnighted the pump to him. He said to clean, test and put it back together would be 30-40 unless parts were missing (which they aren't). Hoping that is all it is. They are located near BWI airport so close by to me. Thanks!
