I just purchased a 07 gulfstream I have a question or twowhat is this pipe for
And how do you attach the aft top with thease fittings
Also if you turn the battery switch is off to make sure nothings on do the chargers still charge the batteries

I don't know what that part is.

If installed correctly, the battery charger should be wired directly (with fuses) to the batteries and will charger regardless of the battery switch setting.

I'm guessing the SS piece is some type of support leg - assuming the rubber foot goes against a vertical surface and the SS piece curves up and underneath something to support it. Just a WAG, though.

I have no idea what your second picture is of.

As Seasick mentioned, the charger SHOULD be connected directly to the batteries (or at least the battery side of the battery switch). However, with a pre-owned boat, the only way to know is to check. Follow the charger wires or check voltage at batteries with the switch off.
