I have a Tournament 22 that could use sprucing up. It has Trinidad bottom paint that is about 6 years old that I put on. It does have several layers of barrier coat on it. There are areas where the paint has rubbed off and the rest of it looks pretty good for the age. The website says Vivid is compatible with Trinidad, Just sand and apply is what they say. Has anyone here done this? I'm not sure to what degree I would want to sand it. Just to rough it up? I would think it would look somewhat brown copper after sanding.
