Hello. First post here. I have a 1998 GW Voyage and am looking to replace the hatch trim ring that holds the cabin screen in place. I know it is a Bomar hatch but there are some many models I'm not sure which one I have. The plastic trim ring is 19" OD and 16" ID (square but you get the idea). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

To be honest, you may be better off pulling the hatch, measuring the rough opening and installing a new one. I doubt a 22 year old design is supported by the manufacturer. Another option is to look around and see if you can find one on ebay, but you'll need to know what you are looking for,

That thought crossed my mind but new hatches are upwards of $400-$500 and the trim rings are only $60-$100 and are readily available but knowing the right model number is key. Thanks for weighing in.

Just an idea. Maybe take it apart and look for a model number? Maybe shoot some pics and see if anyone here or at Bomar can help identify.

I was able to find what looks like a serial number. Thanks for the suggestion. I will reach out to Bomar Monday.

Good luck. Hopefully they can help and at a minimum clearly identify the part you want. Have a few pics ready to send them. Maybe an old timer there can match it up. If they can't help, check with local dealers (ask if they know of any old part channels) and ebay.

Hatches are typically "sold" based on the cut-out hole size. Meaning, a 20" hatch fits into a 20" opening, but the pieces would be smaller. Most likely, that's what you have - a 20" hatch - which is, by far, the most common one out there.

Or... install an OceanAir Skyscreen :)
