Anyone have a heater solution for inside of a 204 cabin.

Other than propane (mr heater) , I dont like the flame units or gas in such a small space. And I would want this to be on while under way as my dad will be sitting in there (75yrs old). Will need to keep it warm for him so he can come out of the cold. Been looking online and have not found much.

Any help on this?

Your best bet is either going to be a power inverter and a small electeric space heater or a catalytic portable space heater. It runs on propane, but is safe for use inside tents, so a boat should be similar. A google search on either will yield many reuslts.

No cheap solution, get a Honda 2kw generator and a 1500 watt electric space heater at the depot.

Way less heat than the Mr Buddy, but probaly more than enough.

The panel type radiant heater is probably the best since you can point it at him and fell the warmth like an old school steam radiator - one per room. You may even be able to mount it on the cabin wall out of the way.

Electric heater is out...ran my bat dead in about 2 hours and not enough heat to even warm the space (as small as it is). A call girl would be cheaper than a generator to keep him warm. Not much info as far a safety but will try the catalytic heater you mentioned. I know it says safe for tents but also says do not use near fuel sources and the 65 gals of gas in the belly kind of scares the hell out of me. I guess if the is not happy being cold he will just have to give me my inheritance early to get a warmer boat, lol

A thermos bottle of hot coffee, warm gloves and warm clothes.

That boat is too small to add a portable generator and electric heater and you would probably start a fire anyway or kill yourselh with CO. Propane is out for many reasons.
I read a funny post about a guy who piped his flush port hose on the motor into his shower system so that he would have 'hot' water. I wonder if there is a way to use the flush port warm water to heat a small radiator?

A bigger boat is an option also
