Hello, been reading this forum since purchasing my grady last year. I have a 24' offshore. Anyway figured I'd sign up and start posting. I am in the middle of undergoing many projects with the boat and have lots of questions. Hopefully I can also contribute as I learn being a hardcore DIY'er.
Here are a few of the projects for the winter.
1.Complete rewire of house power and switch pane
2.Recore of hatches
3.homemade portable livewell
4.Fuel tank swap
5.new incabin and helm carpet
6.New scupper tube installation

Thank you in advance, I use the search here regularly and it has been a big help.
Greg

Aside from the livewell project, I have done all the other things you mentioned on an 85' 204c. Be glad to help you get started. You workin' on these projects in the order as shown? Post your questions, you might be surprised by the response you get.

BTW, welcome aboard.

Ask away. I have a 24' Offshore as well, full transom model. Right now I am in the middle of a complete rewire(and I mean complete), new switch panels, replacing cabin bulkheads, replacing seacock assembly, replacing all fuel lines, replacing thru hulls, replacing steering lines, relocating trim tab HPU, and replacing transom mount transducer with tilted element thru hull. Make sure you go the the Grady White website and download the owner's manual for your year. There should be wiring diagrams in the manual that help with locating the original wiring for the boat.

Just wondering how the new carpet turned out if you have pictures. I just started a similar project
