Hi: I'm pretty new here. Been lurking for awhile.

I'm in the market for a 30' Marlin and may build a new garage to house it.

Can anyone provide me with overall length, width and height on the trailer? Preferably one with a radar arch.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It all depends

The variables are going to be the height of your trailer off the ground plus the height of your boat to the hardtop PLUS radar and GPS etc. Length is going to be from tip of your trailer tonge to the back of your engines. If I was building from scratch I would go 20 feet wide by 45 feet long with a 20 foot ceiling height. I have never wished a shop was smaller.

On a trailer you really can't tow over 13' 6" without be considered oversized. If it's a short distance and there are no low bridges or wires you may get away with it.

My 268 islander with a hardtop, radar dome and outrigger bases is 13' 0" on the trailer.

I would build a 14' high garage opening but that may look strange next to the house!
