The Grady 36 CC was some boat. Particularly the safety glass hardtop enclosure design and if this is the trend it's fine with me. Molded in speakers, handholds along roof rim, forward facing sunroof, LED floods, etc. No more anodized aluminum.
I wouldn't call the boat a CC though, have to come up with some other name. Definitely not a CC with that cabin.
Only one Grady left at show of the walkaround type, old reliable Gulfstream. We've seen this coming for many years. CCs , dual consoles, and expresses.
And the grill is electric not gas, saw the same grill on the big Pursuit.
Cook our lunch on boat!!
True CCs - the Yellowfin 36 and Buddy Davis 34 made my day too. The Yellowfin has a stepped hull starting half way forward, what a hull - that hull with the tripple F350s must be good for 70+ mph. The profile on the Buddy Davis is awesome how the cutback occurs at the cockpit.
The new 23 footer has a soft hartop and the engine well's forward full height bulhead doesn't have to be dropped for full engine tilt. That's why the well and side cabinets extend so far forward seems to me. Has the built-in fold up seat. Drop down cleats. Good boat for single engine only CCers. No problem for kids around the well, and it is tight to the motor.
Too bad Yamaha showed up with the 20 inch bass boat version of the new SHO, and not even a cutaway open view. When I asked where the SW versions were, after a long delay searching for an answer, the rep said won't be on market until late summer.
Yamaha - thanks for insulting coastal fisherman, like how many bass boaters go to NYC Javits?
Pursuit shows their boats nice since the big Raymarine MFDs are installed and hot, running slide shows of fishing photos. Nice sales touch.
The show gets smaller again, soon enough the Nassau Colesium layout will have more. Picked up some discount coupons and checked out my next FF and GPS, and a show price on a 6K BTU A/C unit.
Eastern has a display with the 248, I like the pilot houses.
Wanted to check out the Ranger tug, but not about waiting on a line to do so.
Can't wait until spring! As usual this time of year.
Daylight is getting longer! Soon.
