Once again the inflatable towing issue has come to the fore. A friend suggested having a removable davit that will fit into the aft port and starboard rod holders. Enough to get inflatable up over the engines to rest on the transom box while travelling. Thoughts?

On another note, a simpler idea, inflatable kayak I can show aboard Then use to row ashore. Anyone ideas on the stowable/inflatable kayak?

I wouldn’t think removable davits would be enough for a RIB or useful enough for an inflatable bottom dinghy.

I have a slat bottom roll up dinghy that fits in a bag, but it’s still bulky. I can store it on my bow walk around deflated in the bag. Rarely use it though it it could take a small outboard if needed.

Also have a couple of inflatable paddle boards that fit into a backpacks. Easy to pump with an electric pump. If it’s a short distance needed to paddle and you can SUP that’s the smallest option I can think of. Check out the BOTE brand kayak as well. Pricey but nice.
