I had a tough time finding an exact match, I know the kenwoods used in my boat are nolonger made, but did see a few stores online still claiming to have them in stock. I decided to go with infinity 602M speakers instead, they fit perfectly into the mounting hole, but did need new holes drilled about 1/4" outside of the existing mounting screw locations, not a difficult change at all and the sound quality is much much better. From everything I have seen, those kenwoods did not hold up well to the marine enviornment. You might want to remove the existing speakers and measure the holes you have to find a pair that fit well, for me the 602M fit perfectly other then the 2 new holes for the mounting screws, a very simple job.

I replaced mine with Sony's and they fit perfect mounting holes and all. I agree with gradyfish22 that Infinity do sound better but more money. My sony's were installed last August and will sell them for $50 for the pair if your interested in perfect match mounting. Otherwise, go with the Infinity!!

gradyfish, catching alot stripers in RB?? It's red hot as you probably know.

I paid just under $100 on ebay from an electronics warehouse brand new. Had trouble finding a speaker that had a decent cover to keep a bit of the water out, many are too open and will wear quicker, the inifiniys had one of the best.

Fishing has been very good over all, have to work harder on some days, but I rarely clam, mostly fish bunker looking for bigger fish, bunker fishing is just turning on right now. Will be out tommorrow to fish the outgoing.

I wanted to change mine to Pioneers 3-way. I put a pair in my skiff and sound awsome. Infinity are good speakers too but you need an amp to apreciate the sound( for the car speakers that is, i really don't know if the marine version of the Infinity are different).

The Sony speakers were model XS MP1620W. Check ebay since they were less expensive than West Marine. Good luck!!
