Ladder upgrade

We do a fair amount of scuba diving out of our Islander 270. There is a ladder on the starboard side that is OK for occasional use but isn't really designed for 250 lb men, especially with scuba gear on. I'd like to add another larger ladder on the port side that is easly removable so it could be stored on the roof.
Anybody solve this problem already?

Nice looking ladder!!! I left mine down last year after the kids were kneeboarding and I need to repair or replace whats there, and it's on sale!
