Ok South Jersey Guys, whats the deal with LE inlet?
I might be going down to Beach Haven for a few days & stay at BHYC.
I did it once in my V20 but ran ocean to Barnegat Inlet and ran the bay to Beach Haven. Eel grass was a nightmare.
Also, the channels were messed up by Sandy & charts were almost useless.

I heard they dredged LE inlet. And I hear mention of "the north channel" to come in & out.
Anyone use that inlet and what should I know?

When you plan on coming down I’ll meet you and show you around. Know every square inch of tuckerton/great Bay Area and the inlet.

The north channel is called the north cut. Someone always running through its unmarked. Would just follow someone coming in or out. The inlet was dredged and plenty deep in the markers. You can easily see where the sand bars are.

Good to hear the inlet is good now. maybe going down for a few days the week of 8/15. Friends have a beach house. So far BHYC and Morrison's have space. I'll wait til I have a sense of the weather though because if its going to rain I'd rather sit in the beach house and drink.

The daydreaming plan is to combine a few days of tube pulling with a trip to Lindenkol canyon on the way down from (or back to) manasquan inlet
