Hi and thanks for letting me join. I have a 90 204 fisherman with a livewell on the port side. The drain fitting has developed a crack and needs to be replaced. Anyone here dealt with this? Is the fitting just a flush mount scupper with a square nut encased in foam? What is the best way to remove/replace this? TIA

Welcome aboard!

Yes, the fitting is just a standard thing with a nut.

I haven't done that job on your boat, but in nearly all cases... if there isn't something nearby that you can remove to access the fitting, then cut an access hole in an appropriate spot and fill the hole with a removable deck plate. Go as big as you can with the deck plate/hole!!!

You will likely will spend 18 hours trying to wrestle the hose off... don't. You're going to want to replace the hose, anyways. Just cut it with something like a reciprocating tool - which should be small enough to fit in there.
