I have a 2003 Grady White Marlin. Does anyone have experience mounting a livewell pump directly on seacock. I have a Shurflo 1500 that seems heavy. I am replacing a Rule 1600 that has gone bad for third time in 2 years. What pump do you like and where do you mount it?

Couple of recent threads on this topic. With the size of the Marlin's live well, I'd strongly recommend going the bulkhead mounting route, and also consider up-sizing the wiring and fuse along with the larger pump head. More than a few members have pointed out the downside of sticking to the "plastic mounted directly on valve body" OEM style.

I believe my 330 has the pump attached to the seacock. I can't verify it as the boat is 700 miles away but, I would think the user manual should confirm the location.
