I have replaced this stupid spring every year and want to know if anyone has put the new upgrade design shock on it. What is the part number for the spring and hardwear? Thanks for any info.

I don't have a sailfish, I have a seafarer 228G , mine had a gas strut that was stuffed when I bought her.
I bought a S/S gas strut form this place: http://stores.ebay.com/strut-your-stuff-here
He has any strut size you want in S/S and cheap, all you have to do is measure yours and get one the same size and same pressure , your current one should have that info on it as well.

Thats the problem. I don't have one on it. It has the old spring system and it gets bent every year. I want to use a pneumatic spring and need a length and pressure rating of it. Anyone out there done this before? Thanks Neal
