Ran to the Chesapeake last week. Burned +/- 120 gals each way on the main leg of the trip. Once I arrived to the marina for the first night, I switched to tank 2. Did this 2 times during the trip. Any thoughts with running each engine on it's own tank and burning off each tank equally? I'm concerned that running in a mess, the handling could be affected. BTW - Marlin, (2) 250's, (2) 150 gal tanks

Thanks

Either way, I'd want the capability of running both engines seperately or together from either tank. Trapped fuel is useless ...

Look at a post I made on May 12 of this year titled Fuel management with twin tanks. I run off of my main tank first on long trips and then switch to my aux and the boat seems to handle that way well. This is my first year with the boat so I have not played around with all senarios yet.
