I searched first to try and not post something already answered but I could not find this answer. I have a 2003 Marlin and I can not tell how the whole wiper can be changed out (from top of wiper motor on the outside, the whole assembly, not just the wipers themselves) I would think it’s a nut right on top at the base but there does not seem to be a cap to remove as on a car. What is the trick? This must be super easy but I’m lost at the moment. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. The motors are good, just the rest I would like to look a bit better

Well, you could always just paint it right there without removing it 
A light sand, a tiny can of Rustoleum and a small brush will do the trick.
There's often a little latch/arm on the underside of the "cup" that sits on the shaft. If you look/feel underneath, you might see it. Just gently pry that away about a 1/16" and lever the arm off the shaft. Sometimes you can just lever/pop them off without even prying the little latch away.
Note... if this boat is used in salt water, that's a whole 'nother dilemma to deal with since salt gets up inside the cup and makes a real bear. It's hard to get penetrating spray/30% vingegar/whatever up in there, too. But be creative.
