Looking for some advice on how to best tie up to a mooring. I have a 93 GW Explorer 24 similar to the attached pictures. I've tried a few ways to tie up. Originally I had a twin pennant that I tied to cleats that were located to the left and right of the pulpit. The problem was that as the boat swung in higher winds, it strained against the fiberglass webbing under the pulpit and damaged it. The last 2 years I've used a single pennant through the anchor bracket to the main cleat. I'm concern this places too much stress on the pulpit/bow when it swings in higher winds. I thought about removing the pulpit altogether but I'd need to get the rails modified.

Anyone have some experience with this setup? Thanks.

yea, i would use the bow/trailer eye. its designed for the load and is a better pull angle as well. a line with a knot and a caribiner would work.

I was thinking of trying that this year. I'll take a look at tie-up options. Thanks guys.
