Hi everyone! :)

We just bought a 1998 Sailfish 272 to replace our old Bayliner we lost during Hurricane Ike (talk about a upgrade, huh?! :D WOOOHOO! ) Anyways, I'm sorry if this is a silly question so please bear with me I'm new at this...

Since the old boat lift on our house was smaller and damaged we had to have it replaced. The lift was installed a week before the boat got here and the installer said to call him up for a adjustment. When the boat arrived this Sat we tried out the lift and it was pretty obvious the straps were too far apart. We noticed that the boat had 2 markers on the drivers side that looked to be the ideal spot for the lift straps to be. They look like arrows or "ticks". I'm not sure if the previous owner put this there for his own reference or maybe it's for something totally different. Does anyone else have these or can you confirm that this is indeed probably where the straps go for the boat lift??

Thanks

They sometimes have a sling indicator somewhere on the topside. Probably best to contact grady white customer service via their website and ask them to provide the locations.
