Wondering if folks upgrade/renew surbscription for navionics every year?

I do, I find the APP useful when on other folks boats and when traveling, also a great back up.

I don't since I don't boat far distances but rather local and very near shore

I do as good when traveling and curious about other water areas. Was cool when at the outer banks in NC to see how shallow everything was. Probably one of the least expenditures each year.

I did but I could skip this year. Not many changes out here.

I have considered subscribing, but never actually downloaded. Is annual renewal necessary to keep the app active, or just to get the updates?
