Do you have a lockable electronics box or the flush mount set up? I would bet the flush mount. If so you would need to take our all the screws and pull the flush mount panel off the console. It is a plug and play behind the gps. You will need to run and antennae wire up the rigging pole which you can access in the same console. I would imagine there is enough room to put the weather unit in the console. Did you already purchase a raymarine sr100 as (I still have my unit, book and power wire)? I had the same E120/sr100 weather unit set up on my GW Islander 270 and now have the Garmin set up on my 2005 GW Marlin 300 (she came with Garmin). The weather is an awesome feature and I have run 6 feet off the side of a rain storm. It is that accurate.

I have wired about everything and fixed most electronics over the years on my GW's. If you need help feel free to PM me. Happy to share.

PS: great choice with the Marlin. She handles well!

Thanks REBThunderroad. You are correct it is flush mount and no i have not bought the sr100. I would be interested in the sr100 if you don't need it.

thanks again
