I have a 99 226 and I’ve been thinking of getting rid of that unit and just covering the space with a piece of starboard. I never use that spigot anyway and it’s rather ugly. I do have the shower attachment in the gunwale though and that’s what I generally use if I happened to need a FW washdown at sea. Other than that, I find that unit a waste of space. I’m certainly not going to drink out of that 21 year old tank and hand wipes work well for general personal hygiene. Perhaps a piece of starboard with a hose attachment similar to the SW washdown connection?
