Please help! I am looking for feedback on which Grady model would best suit my needs. I live in Costa Rica. Here are my requirements:

-Size 28-33
-Trailerable-although the boat will be kept in the water. In Costa Rica where I live- I need a trailer.
-Family Crusing and comfort is #1 ( I have a two year old daughter and a wife that requires an enclosed head). We will use the boat for diving, surfing, fishing & exploring the Costa Rica coastline. We will do overnighters on the boat.
-4 stroke outboards but which ones?

Thank you in advance for your recommendations. Again family cruising and comfort take precedence over fishing. Having said that I like the walk around ability & safety. I will have children on board.

Marlin, 305 ?

Thanks

Welcome to the board. There is a discussion in progress on the merits of the 300 and 305. The more boat the better for many reasons.
Trailering a 30' is a challenge but it has been done. If yours is to be kept in the water then I assume the trailer is seldom used.

Either the 300 or the 305 will suit you needs very well so it depends on which layout you prefer. The best bet is to see each in person. If you plan to overnight I recommend the diesel genset option.

The engine choice is easy. F250s. Here is the current discussion. Feel free to ask specific questions about either model. There are very happy owners of both on this board.
