I’ve been restoring my 1988 228. Has taken about three years. New bulkhead and I finally added new cabin doors. I had the old teak shutter doors and I wanted a more contemporary look.

In 2 weeks I’m having a custom hardtop added and I should be, almost, maybe done?

Looks way better than the teak imo, which is one of the many reasons why I went with a 1998 and newer GW 228 Seafarer. The teak looks decent when it’s nice and new, but after it starts fading, it ages the boat rather quickly. Good work.

I’m getting close. Been waiting since February. I take it to Delaware next Friday and it takes about a week to build it.

Im pretty excited
