Hi, I'm buying my first boat in many years in 2 days, pending sea trial. 1985 Seafarer 22 with 350 Mercruiser. Boat is mint & I'm looking forward to getting my sea legs back & enjoying the best looking & best made boat out there. Look forward to gather as much info as I can from this site.

Ditto get it surveyed. I made the mistake of not getting it surveyed and have paid the price since. Including 11K in motor work. the valves were noisy and the mechanic at a Yamaha shop in Ontario said they need adjusting. I think they were in cahoots with the seller. Oh well lesson learned never to be made again.
