I just finished wet-sanding/refinishing my '12 Fisherman 209 and had removed all the existing striping & logos. Going with current model style design. I already have the the GW logo nameplate (P/N 10-0898) and "Fisherman 209" decals (P/N #10-0842) sourced, but I'm a little unsure of the striping (sold by the foot), which I have identified as:
  • 30-291 tape fwd
  • 30-294 tape aft
One of these is referred to as "blue" and the other as "green" and the 3 dealers closest to me in South Florida weren't very helpful in explaining much. I thought the newer models have the same blue & silver tape running the entire length of the boat, and that the blue and green striping were used on the older boats, fwd and aft of that fancy design decal/model emblem that GW used to apply midship.

Has anyone had experience installing the new OEM striping that can shed some light here?

Thanks!

My boat is a 2018.. try to see if you can see the stripe on it... if not, I can email a picture to youMay 13 306 resized.jpg

GW has used many different striping over the years. Most dealers stock rolls of them. If close you can go check out. I'm partial to the blue, but that was the earlier color. Green is newer.

Think the blue/green was the two-tone style stripe. I went all blue on mine,,, nothing on the boat is green,,, didn't make any sense to me to have green on it.
